The EcoGrill is used for cooking, roasting, grilling or even smoking. The coal made from alder wood creates a robust smoky taste and aroma to your dish. Due to the design of the grill, the maximum is taken out of the coal and the duration of the heat distribution extends to at least 2.5 hours.

You only need a lighter or match with this EcoGrill, nothing more!

Waste processing
No chemical or poisonous substances are used in the manufacture of the EcoGrill. The remaining ash can be extinguished after use and is 100% biodegradable.

The Grill
The round grill base, which is made directly from an alder stock, and the coals consist of 100% black alder. Everything therefore consists entirely of sustainable raw materials. To allow oxygen into the fire, narrow notches have been made in both the inner and the outer wall.
The Charcoal
Due to the high carbon content in alder wood, the coal is highly flammable and thus spreads a uniform temperature over the entire burning time. Ideal for preparing your dish without worries. The carbon content is 88%, the ash content is 2.6% and the moisture content is 4.2%. The grill base and charcoal therefore both consist of black alder wood that does not develop any unpleasant smoke.
The 'Igniter'
The firelight in the middle, which is used to light the grill, does not contain harmful substances. It is completely harmless to humans and animals. It is also environmentally friendly, odorless and does not dry out. So the EcoGrill has an almost limitless shelf life!
Bake or fry with the pan
After about 20 minutes, all charcoal is ignited and a small open flame is created which ensures that the EcoGrill is not only suitable as a grill, but also as a heat source in your current barbecue.
For example, your frying or grilling products can be prepared in a frying pan or wok on the grill base, allowing you to prepare versatile dishes.
Grilling on a grid
The EcoGrill is supplied without a grid because of the naturalness of the product. You can place the Ecogrill at home in an existing barbecue where you place the grid above it. Another option is the use of a meat / fish clip that allows you to easily turn the dishes on the EcoGrill without having to use barbecue tools.
Roasting above the fire
After 2 hours of use of the EcoGrill, the wood collapses and the EcoGrill glows for 1 hour. You can for example grill potatoes in aluminum foil, make marshmallows or simply enjoy the heat that the EcoGrill spreads.

Scandinavian:
The EcoGrill is based on a Scandinavian way of making fire. Soldiers in the Thirty Years' War kept warm with the so-called "Schwedenfeuer" during the cold winter months in southern Germany. No lighter fluid is required to ignite the EcoGrill. The ecological firelighter ensures that the fire is already on after the use of one match and after 20 minutes the EcoGrill is ready for use. The charcoal also burns away the surrounding alder wood, and what remains is 100% biodegradable.
